Legislative session

Legislature sends pared- down bonding bill to Dayton

The Minnesota Legislature Monday night passed a bill to pay for State Capitol renovations. The pared-down bonding bill includes $109 million to make extensive repairs to the State Capitol, as well as funding for flood mitigation projects and the Minneapolis veteran's home.

Mormon Tabernacle Tour Packages

Classical Minnesota Public Radio is thrilled to bring The Mormon Tabernacle Choir to The Target Center on June 20, 2013.

MPR is offering motor coach tour packages originating in Duluth and Rochester. The tours include travel, dinner with a Classical MPR host, and tickets to The Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert.

* Duluth: This tour originates in Duluth and includes return trip motor coach travel, dinner at JAX Café in Minneapolis with Classical MPR host Steve Staruch, and main floor seating to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Target Center.

* Rochester: This tour originates in Rochester and includes return trip motor coach travel, dinner at Doolittles Woodfire Grill in Eagan with Classical MPR host Mindy Ratner, and main floor seating to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Target Center.
